New Bard in 2018!

Happy New Year, friends, Romans, countrymen,

Just wanted to take a minute and make a couple announcements. First and foremost, there’s going to be new No Holds Bard in 2018. We’re putting together an almost-all-new graphic novel consisting of six issues (that’s 140+ pages of content) and calling it No Holds Bard: The First Folio, and let me tell you, this thing goes off the rails! That’s right, more Shakespeare and Page adventures in stunning iambic pentameter, drawn by a single artist.

And that artist is the one and only Logan Faerber! Fresh off his hit book Namwolf, Logan is back gracing the pages of Bard with his signature style. We’re both really excited to share this goofy thing with you.

But that’s not all. We’re also assembling an all-star variant cover gallery for the back of the book. So far we have James Callahan (The Auteur), Luke McGarry (that Hollywood Reporter article about Michael Wolff’s new book), and Pia Guerra (Y: The Last Man) signed on, and more are coming soon.

And to make sure everything is copacetic words-wise, we’ve hired editor, Shakespeare enthusiast, and Smurfologist extraordinaire Matt. Murray to go over everything with a fine-toothed comb.

Kickstarter begins in March. Until then, we’re going to be promoting the hell out of this thing. If you want to help spread the word, follow @BardComic on Twitter, or check our Tumblr or official Facebook groups. We’re going to need all hands on deck on this.

Beware the ides of March!

-Eric

P.S. If you want a shirt from the last Kickstarter, send me an email (noholdsbardcomic AT gmail.com). I only have a couple left, and the new KS will have an all-new design, so once these babies are gone, they’re gone!
